Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
‘We Still Have Hearts’ is easy listening rock, composed to provide a captivating musical experience with a natural sound. To achieve this I spent a lot of time on the production, using about twelve instruments across the twelve songs to ensure that the end result is an album that leaves a mark. There is a variation of high and low tempo songs on “Hearts”, but I worked hard to create a signature sound that comes through on every mix. The album single is a cover of a song called “Walls” which was originally written and recorded by Tom Petty. The second single is “Together Again” which is an unusual rock song, with a sound that is difficult to place in terms of its genre, but its roots are easy alternative rock. Other songs to look out for that have had very good feedback in pre-release are “Different Times”, “Ignite” and “Looking for a Remedy”. At the very least there are interesting stories in the songs for the listener, with some decent melodies and good production. I hope that you enjoy it.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
Lookout for ‘Different Times’, which is the next single to be released in the fall, which is a hopeful ballad about love and loss, recorded with piano, viola and cello.
